(Expressing Purpose) Biểu đạt mục đích trong tiếng Anh được sử dụng để diễn tả lý do hoặc mục đích của một hành động nào đó.

## Lý thuyết về Expressing Purpose

### Lý thuyết chung:

1. **To + Infinitive**: Sử dụng "to" cộng với động từ nguyên mẫu để diễn tả mục đích.
    - Ví dụ: She went to the store **to buy** some groceries.
2. **In order to / So as to + Infinitive**: Đây là cách trang trọng hơn khi sử dụng "to + Infinitive".
    - Ví dụ: He studied hard **in order to pass** the exam. / She moved to New York **so as to find** a better job.
3. **For + Noun / Pronoun / Gerund**: Sử dụng "for" cộng với danh từ, đại từ hoặc danh động từ.
    - Ví dụ: This brush is **for painting** walls.
4. **So that + Subject + Modal Verb**: Sử dụng "so that" theo sau bởi một chủ ngữ và một động từ khuyết thiếu.
    - Ví dụ: She turned off the lights **so that** her baby **could sleep**.

### Các cấu trúc cụ thể

1. **To + Infinitive**
    - Được sử dụng phổ biến và đơn giản nhất để biểu đạt mục đích.
    - Ví dụ: I went to the library **to borrow** some books.
2. **In order to / So as to + Infinitive**
    - Thường được dùng trong văn viết hoặc khi muốn nhấn mạnh.
    - Ví dụ: He jogs every morning **in order to stay** healthy.
3. **For + Noun / Pronoun / Gerund**
    - Biểu đạt mục đích thông qua một danh từ, đại từ hoặc danh động từ.
    - Ví dụ: They went to Paris **for their honeymoon**.
4. **So that + Subject + Modal Verb**
    - Thường được sử dụng để diễn tả mục đích mà chủ ngữ muốn đạt được.
    - Ví dụ: I saved money **so that** I **could buy** a new car.

### Các điểm lưu ý

- Khi sử dụng "to + Infinitive", không dùng dấu phẩy giữa hành động và mục đích.
- Khi dùng "for + Gerund", hãy chắc chắn rằng động từ được chuyển thành danh động từ (verb + ing).
