Lý Thuyết về So Sánh Hơn và So Sánh Nhất (Comparatives and Superlatives)

I. Comparatives (So Sánh Hơn)

So sánh hơn được sử dụng để so sánh giữa hai đối tượng. Có ba cách chính để tạo dạng so sánh hơn:

1. Tính từ ngắn (1-2 âm tiết):
   • Thêm “-er” vào cuối tính từ.
   • Ví dụ:
     • small → smaller
     • tall → taller
2. Tính từ kết thúc bằng “e”:
   • Chỉ thêm “-r”.
   • Ví dụ:
     • large → larger
     • close → closer
3. Tính từ ngắn kết thúc bằng phụ âm + nguyên âm + phụ âm:
   • Nhân đôi phụ âm cuối rồi thêm “-er”.
   • Ví dụ:
     • big → bigger
     • hot → hotter
4. Tính từ dài (từ 3 âm tiết trở lên):
   • Sử dụng “more” trước tính từ.
   • Ví dụ:
     • beautiful → more beautiful
     • interesting → more interesting
5. Tính từ bất quy tắc:
   • Một số tính từ có dạng so sánh hơn bất quy tắc.
   • Ví dụ:
     • good → better
     • bad → worse

II. Superlatives (So Sánh Nhất)

So sánh nhất được sử dụng để so sánh một đối tượng với nhiều đối tượng khác trong một nhóm. Có ba cách chính để tạo dạng so sánh nhất:

1. Tính từ ngắn (1-2 âm tiết):
   • Thêm “-est” vào cuối tính từ.
   • Ví dụ:
     • small → smallest
     • tall → tallest
2. Tính từ kết thúc bằng “e”:

III. Lưu Ý Khi Sử Dụng So Sánh Hơn và So Sánh Nhất

• Khi sử dụng so sánh hơn, thường dùng “than” để nối hai đối tượng so sánh.
  • Ví dụ: She is taller than her brother.
• Khi sử dụng so sánh nhất, thường dùng “the” trước tính từ.
  • Ví dụ: She is the tallest girl in her class.
