This has resulted in a situation where those with the skills to work in high-tech industries, typically the wealthy, continue to amass wealth, while those without these skills struggle to find stable employment. Moreover, globalization has contributed to this gap, as it allows multinational corporations to take advantage of cheaper labor in developing countries, leading to job losses in more developed nations and exacerbating income inequality.
Another significant factor is the unequal access to education and opportunities. In many societies, the rich have access to better education, healthcare, and networking opportunities, which further entrenches their economic advantage. The poor, on the other hand, often face barriers to education and professional advancement, making it difficult for them to break the cycle of poverty. This lack of upward mobility perpetuates the gap between the rich and the poor.
To address this growing disparity, several measures can be implemented.
