Trong tiếng Anh Adjective Order tức là khi sử dụng nhiều tính từ để mô tả một danh từ, các tính từ thường được sắp xếp theo một thứ tự cụ thể. Thứ tự này có thể được ghi nhớ bằng từ viết tắt “OSASCOMP”, như sau:

1. Opinion (Ý kiến): đẹp, xấu, tốt, tệ, v.v.

8. Purpose (Mục đích): chỉ định mục đích sử dụng của danh từ.
   • Ví dụ: sleeping (as in “sleeping bag”), cooking (as in “cooking pot”)
