The primary goal of sports should be to promote physical fitness and well-being, not to encourage practices that could harm athletes’ health.

Furthermore, the ethical implications of allowing PEDs cannot be ignored. Sports are based on the principles of fair play and equal opportunity. Permitting PEDs would create an uneven playing field, as not all athletes would have equal access to these substances, leading to further disparities. Additionally, the use of PEDs undermines the value of hard work and natural talent, which are the cornerstones of athletic achievement. Instead of celebrating genuine skill and dedication, we would be glorifying chemically-enhanced performances.
